Booking with a solo lash & brow artist works a little differently than walking into a big salon — and that's a good thing. It means the time you book is reserved exclusively for you. To keep that experience smooth (and surprise-free), here's exactly how booking, deposits, and cancellations work at my Midtown studio.
None of this is about being strict. It's about protecting your time and mine so every client gets my full, unhurried attention.
A small non-refundable deposit secures your spot and goes toward your service. Need to change plans? Just give 24 hours' notice and your deposit moves with you. There's a 15-minute grace period for running late. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service price, because that reserved time usually can't be filled. Read the full booking & cancellation policy.
Why I take a deposit
A deposit isn't an extra fee — it's applied directly to your service total. It simply confirms you're committed to the time you're reserving, which matters a lot when there's only one chair. It keeps my calendar honest and my prices fair for everyone.
The 24-hour rule
Plans change, and I get it. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours ahead and your deposit transfers to your new appointment — no problem at all. Inside 24 hours, though, there isn't realistically time to fill the spot, so a late change is charged at the full service price.
And it works the other way too: if you want to come in earlier, rescheduling to a sooner slot is always an option when there's availability — just ask.
Running a few minutes late?
Miami traffic is real. There's a built-in 15-minute grace period, so a few minutes won't derail your appointment — just text me. Beyond 15 minutes, there may not be enough time to do your set properly without cutting into the next client, so we may need to reschedule. Because the time was held just for you, the full service still applies. Arriving on time means you get the complete, relaxed experience you're paying for.
No-shows
A no-show — missing the appointment with no notice — is charged at 100% of the booked service. It's the one policy I can't bend on, because an empty unannounced slot is time I can never get back or offer to someone else.
The easiest way to never worry about any of this
- Add your appointment to your calendar the moment you book.
- If anything changes, tell me as early as you can — 24+ hours keeps your deposit.
- Aim to arrive 5 minutes early so you can settle in.
That's really it. Have a question about your booking? Reach out or book here — and you can always review the complete studio policy any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable, but with at least 24 hours' notice it can be transferred to your rescheduled appointment. It's always applied toward your service total, so it's not an extra cost.
What if I'm sick or have an emergency?
I completely understand that life happens. Just reach out as early as you can. With 24+ hours' notice your deposit moves to your next appointment. Same-day cancellations are still charged because the reserved time usually can't be filled.
How do I reschedule?
Use your booking confirmation to reschedule online, or message me as soon as you know. As long as it's at least 24 hours ahead, your deposit carries over.
What counts as a no-show?
Missing your appointment without any notice. No-shows are charged 100% of the booked service, since that reserved time can't be offered to another client.
Why do you have these policies?
I'm a solo artist with one chair — there's no second station to absorb a last-minute gap. These policies keep pricing fair and protect the unhurried, one-on-one experience every client books me for.
